German Shorthair Plaques and Memorials
Ever wonder how to honor your favorite hunting dog? This may be just what you're looking for.
Here is the link to some really neat items for all your pets.
Ladies Bird Guns
It's always been hard for my wife to lug around the heavier autos and pump shotguns. We looked at O/U ans SxS's for her but the right shoulder fit was always a problem until now. She found the Bennelli to be the perfect bird gun, weighing in at a mere 5lbs. 2oz. This gun is a beauty, from the wood to the action is total quality. Best part is, you can get it for a little less than a thousand dollars.
Filson Products.
I have had many Filson products over the years, all I can say is they are bullet proof. From double Tin pants to garment bags, they wear like iron and are comfortable and functional. If you're looking for a top of the line in outdoor gear, I highly recommend giving their products a try.

Zodiak German Shorthairs
I am not a breeder, but if I was, this line of Shorthairs would be the one for me. I have been watching these guys over the past few years win awards going to trials along with some great bird hunting outings. Pups are available at times, so if you're interested in a top of the line GSP that can do it all, check into this line.
Happy Hunting !
More from the Zodiak Clan.
GSP Rescue Dogs.
I'm sure by now many of you are aware of the many GSP rescue organizations out there. They are providing a very needed service for the dogs and prospective owners. I know most of us hunters will only buy from reputable kennels with top notch bloodlines, and for good reason. What may surprise you is the number of these dogs that are turned in or dumped off. I personally have two of them, both from very high end kennels. These dogs when they were pups sold for over a thousand dollars. I'm not saying this is for everyone but if you are in the market and possibly a limited budget, this is a good alternative. Mine are great family pets along with being superb hunters. All they required was a little TLC.

Shorthair Helpers
Well hunting season is over now, so what are your plans? What can you do with your Shorthair for some fun? Well around here we make maple syrup in the spring. Our Shorthairs love "sap season" It's warming up and the crew is out in the woods gathering sap to make syrup. The dogs love it. One of their favorite things to do, is drinking out of the sap buckets, they love the sweet taste, and enjoy the challenge of me not catching them in the act. Here is a photo of one of the guilty hounds, caught again!
